Research

Dr. Gamage's research centers on developing non-invasive, cost-effective disease diagnosis and health monitoring solutions. His work embraces a multidisciplinary approach, combining instrumentation, signal processing, computational modeling, and artificial intelligence. Currently, his research spans several areas: cardiac health monitoring through chest vibrations, stress detection using physiological signals such as EEG, EMG, and ECG, and gait analysis via video-based motion tracking and wearable sensing technologies.
